The 4th annual Black Food Sovereignty Conference is focused on enhancing and promoting food sovereignty within Black communities. It aims to bring together stakeholders from diverse sectors—such as policymakers, farmers, chefs, educators, and community organizers—to discuss and share knowledge on ways to ensure that Black communities have control over their food systems. The conference seeks to highlight issues related to food access, agricultural practices, and the cultural significance of food in Black communities. It will feature discussions, workshops, and presentations that address the challenges and opportunities in achieving food sovereignty, with a strong emphasis on community empowerment, sustainable practices, and policy advocacy.
